In order to build a digital Bangladesh, women's empowerment project through information communication technology has been mainly emphasized on the use of information technology. Emphasis has been placed on the fact that underprivileged and underprivileged women can make themselves self-reliant in various fields by taking advantage of information technology and can easily get help in solving their various problems. Project Activities:

1. Information Center: One information center has been established in each of the 492 upazilas of Bangladesh under the project. 01 information service officer, 02 information service assistants are engaged in providing information technology services in each information center. They are known as “data apa” in the project area. Information You are ensuring communication through the Internet, taking opinions of various experts, ensuring the availability of primary health care, upazila government services, video conference, e-learning, e-commerce etc. Apart from this, information officers visit the houses of the villagers under the project area using laptops and internet and provide various information services on education, health, law, business, gender and agriculture. Advantages of data centers are:-

A. Provision of information services through Internet: Free Internet browsing, e-mail, video conferencing services through Skype are provided to the beneficiaries of the project. Besides, job news, various exam results, various government services information are provided free of cost.

b. Primary Health Care: The following primary services are provided free of charge to women and children from the Information Centre.

1. Blood pressure 2. Weight 3. Diabetes test 4. temperature 

c. Door to door service: Information service officers and information service assistants go door to door to provide information technology based services to the women of the village. They discuss information technology through the use of laptops in the village.
